- Journalist / press visa Reporters covering Venezuela apply for a press credential and visa through the Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information (MIPPCI), not through Cancillería Digital. As of 2026 MIPPCI's digital press-visa process has not been fully rolled out, so the business (TR-N) visa often serves as a temporary substitute for short reporting trips. Build in extra lead time and confirm the current process with MIPPCI or the nearest Venezuelan mission before departure.
- No investment-based "golden visa" Venezuela does not currently offer a residency- or citizenship-by-investment ("golden visa") program.
