Who is Diosdado Cabello?
A retired military officer who participated in the 1992 coup attempt alongside Hugo Chávez, Diosdado Cabello Rondón has occupied senior positions throughout the Bolivarian government — including National Assembly president, Vice President, and governor of Miranda. He was appointed Minister of Interior, Justice, and Peace in 2024.
